DATA TRANSMISSION Data transmission refers to the process of sending data from one point to another through various means. This can involve different types of networks and communication methods, including:Wired Transmission: Using physical cables or wires, such as Ethernet cables or fiber optics, to transmit data.Wireless Transmission: Utilizing radio waves, microwaves, or infrared signals to send data without physical connections. Examples include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular networks.Data Protocols: Rules and conventions for data communication, such as TCP/IP for internet communication, which ensures data is transmitted correctly and efficiently.Bandwidth and Speed: The amount of data that can be transmitted over a network in a given amount of time. Higher bandwidth generally allows for faster data transmission.Data Encoding and Compression: Techniques used to prepare data for transmission and reduce the amount of data to be sent, improving efficiency and speed.Understanding these aspects helps in designing and managing communication systems, ensuring reliable and efficient data transfer.#SnsInstitutiin#Snsdesignthinking#Designthinker

VoLTE literally stands for "Voice over LTE". But when people say "VoLTE" (in abbreviation) it usually mean "Voice over LTE utilizing IMS". (You would need to read the context to figure out what they say. Are they talking about 'general voice technology implementation over LTE' or "Voice over LTE utilizing IMS" ?)Theoretically you can use the IP/SIP based application for voice call on LTE as you do with your PC and other IP phone. Then what would be the difference between VoLTE and generic IP based voice call. The simple answer is that VoLTE over IMS can be specially optimized for voice traffic not only in terms of core network but also in terms of radio stack, whereas generic IP based voice call is just 'best effort' type of application which can hardly be optimized for voice traffic and no guaranteed quality of service.

What is bandwidth and each bandwidth how many PRB? 👇👇**Bandwidth** in wireless communication refers to the range of frequencies used for transmitting data over a network. In mobile networks like LTE (Long-Term Evolution) and NR (New Radio, used in 5G), bandwidth is divided into smaller resource units called **Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs)**, which are allocated to users for data transmission. The number of PRBs depends on the channel bandwidth and the frequency band being used. Below are typical numbers for LTE:- **1.4 MHz bandwidth**: 6 PRBs- **3 MHz bandwidth**: 15 PRBs- **5 MHz bandwidth**: 25 PRBs- **10 MHz bandwidth**: 50 PRBs- **15 MHz bandwidth**: 75 PRBs- **20 MHz bandwidth**: 100 PRBsThese values are based on the fact that one PRB corresponds to 180 kHz of bandwidth. The number of PRBs may vary slightly in different network configurations.

What is W-Fi 7?Wi-Fi 7, technically known as IEEE 802.11be, is the next-generation wireless standard set to supersede Wi-Fi 6E. Expected to offer speeds up to four times faster than its predecessor, Wi-Fi 7 comes with major improvements over Wi-Fi 6 and 6E. It features advanced capabilities designed to enhance network performance, such as innovative modulation and coding techniques to improve network efficiency and speed. One key aspect of Wi-Fi 7 is its ability to enable significantly faster speeds by leveraging wider 320 MHz channels, which are twice the size of those used in previous Wi-Fi generations. This allows Wi-Fi 7 to pack more data into each transmission, akin to the difference between using a semi-truck and a moving van to move boxes. The spectrum bands utilized by Wi-Fi 7 include the 2.4, 5, and 6 GHz bands, and it has been dubbed "EHT" for Extremely High Throughput. While still in the draft spec phase at the time of writing, Wi-Fi 7 is anticipated to bring a new level of performance and speed to wireless connectivity.#wifi #wireless #wifi7 #wifi6e #wifi6 #digitalinnovation #wirelessnetworking

What IsWi-Fi 7?Wi-Fi 7 — also known as IEEE 802.11be Extremely High Throughput (EHT) — is the latest upcoming Wi-Fi standard. While the 6 GHz frequency band has been supported since Wi-Fi 6E, the performance improvement of the new frequency band is limited because Wi-Fi 6E is still based on Wi-Fi 6. Comparatively, in addition to the 6 GHz frequency band, Wi-Fi 7 introduces a variety of new technologies, such as 4096-quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), multiple resource unit (MRU), and multi-link operation (MLO). These help to maximize the benefits of the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands, enabling Wi-Fi 7 to provide higher data rates, lower latency, and higher reliability.#Datacom #wlan #wifi7
