Victoria Beckham turned 51 today, and while she was showered with love from her family members, son Brooklyn Beckham has yet to publicly wish her a happy birthday

Brooklyn Beckham has further stoked the flames of speculation about a possible rift within his family by not publicly wishing his mum, Victoria Beckham, a happy 51st birthday on social media.

While the former Spice Girls star celebrates her special day, loved ones such as husband David, who's now 50, and 20 year old son Cruz immediately took to their social media to show her love.

Yet Brooklyn's conspicuous absence from the well-wishing on social media has only intensified whispers about potential discord with his family.

Earlier in the day, David made quite an affectionate display on social media with an array of throwback photos as he honoured his wife on her big day.

Kicking off his Instagram tribute, David posted a nostalgic photo where they are seen sharing a sweet kiss in a pool. He continued with a charming picture capturing them smiling together onboard a yacht in some idyllic setting back in 1999 reports the Mirror.

David's homage wouldn't be complete without including a photo showcasing the fashion maven surrounded by her brood: Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper Seven, aged 13. The fond remembrance wrapped up with several pictures of Victoria as a cute youngster.

Meanwhile, Cruz also expressed his adoration for his distinguished mother via Instagram Stories. Accompanying a snapshot of a young Victoria engrossed in reading to Cruz and his older brother, he wrote: "Happy Birthday to the most inspirational mum. You have done everything for us."

The youngest Beckham lad has fuelled further speculation about a possible family rift by omitting brother Brooklyn from his latest Instagram post, choosing instead to share a snap with just himself, Romeo, and their mum.

Romeo also used his Instagram stories to celebrate Victoria, posting a lovely picture with her and captioning it: "Happy birthday to the most amazing mum. Keep shining and making us all proud. Love you lots."

This development follows reports that Brooklyn and Romeo are not on speaking terms, which could be causing tension within the usually tight-knit family. Eagle-eyed fans noticed Brooklyn's absence from David's recent 50th birthday bash in Miami.

Brooklyn and his spouse, Nicola Peltz-Beckham, were conspicuously missing from the star-studded event, marking another occasion where they've distanced themselves from family gatherings. The whispers about the family's once-solid bond have been growing louder since then.
